..today I had a little pop up that said my virtual memory is running low, and I have noticed lately that my computer runs kind of slow. Anyway, I Googled "How do I increase my computer's virtual memory" and got the answer right away! Come to find out that the number setting should have been 1440, but was it was only 237! I put in the right value and now my computer is 3 times as fast!! I've tried adjusting the screen resolution to various settings and it makes no difference. This happened immediately after I loaded a DVD film disk to watch on my pc.

But the thing is, you shouldt really click it because people are puttng it there so you get attacked by a computer virus or "trojan"

Tonight I had to let them use the "new" computer. They first tried Microsoft paint. It would only come up with black colors. It wouldn't change colors. They perfer Gimp so I down loaded it.....it was doing the same thing.

Why won't may "draw" programs change colors? They took there work over to the other computer and had no problems.

One of the things he likes to do (because he sees it on you tube) is to video tape himself playing on the Wii then putting music to it. He puts up his camera stand and video tapes it. We have seen this done were it looks like it feed is directly from the TV instead of being a video recorded. Is there any way to pull the video directly from the sourves verses recording it with a camera?

Many of us have programs to keep our computers clean besides the obligatory virus programs, spybots, etc..

Not all of us have registry cleaners. My local computer guy won't go near them. But there are other ways to keep the insides clean. If you visit a lot of visual websites you can get a residue of photons and other various gunk on the receptors inside your monitor, which can diminish brightness and clarity.
