Earphones Vs Speakers

I bought a nice pair of earphones and tried them out when out in the village but found it anti-social because I wasn't aware if anyone was speaking to me and I had to remember to keep turning the volume down to speak to people and when crossing roads (safety). I can't imagine how people or

Except actually everyone round here seems to have forgotten. And it's great.
Usually we'd hear them two weeks before and a week after bonfire night, thinking this must be a benefit of the economic downturn, been hearing them much where you are?

What do you think about these scents 'by' celebs? Seems everyone's got one, I even saw an Antonio Banderas one today.

As a general rule I don't buy them, but I had a bottle of Elizabeth Taylor 'White Diamonds' years ago, and I like the bottle for Kate Moss 'Vintage', and her 'Velvet Hour' sounds nice as it has patchouli in it which I love.

I saw this , when watching Breakfast BBC. Not sure what it means, but one question was asked, if we use charactors which are not Basic Latin, then what happens to our Key Boards.
Do we need further "Letters" to include Chinese-Indian and Arabic charactors.

I Didn't Know I was Pregnant

Last night I was watching a show on cable called "I didn't Know I Was Pregnant". It relates stories of women who did not know they were pregnant and when it came for the baby to be born they thought they had stomach problems or an ovarian cyst. When they get to the hospital, they are shocked to learn they were pregnant and the baby is on its way.

Now, how can you not know you are pregnant? It seems silly to me that these women had no clue they were pregnant especially...

Today I was in my yard and Julia's plant topic had me thinking. In my yard I have a few Plumeri and Gardenia plants. These plants reminds me of Hawaii and my mother because she loved to grow these plants. To me, this brings sentimental feelings of my late mother to see these plants growing vigorously. It tells me that I am taking care of these plants and my reward is the blossoms and the sweet fragrances these flowers give when they bloom.

Do you have a brand that you favour? For what reason do you replace your phone and what do you do with the old one?

I think Nokia are eco-friendly, at least I'm only aware of replacement covers for their phones. I got third party covers for my Nokia about a year ago and they were always rubbish, never fitted properly, right now the phone has teeth marks from the dogs (if I drop the phone it's fun to pick it up and chew it don't you know) and the screen had been cracked...

I have an issue with my Home Emergency insurance company for my combination central heating boiler. They've pulled a fast one saying they won't pay for the repair because "it needs a power flush" (yeah right! ), which they don't happen cover. (Hmmm, how very convenient!

My poor son came round this evening with his precious car (he's an enthusiast) smashed. A friend helped him tow it to my house. Some low-life, good for nothing piece of turd smashed the windows as my son lay in bed last night.

Here's the car parked outside his house. Please note, what appears to be a side street is only a footpath to an alleyway, so his car isn't causing an obstruction.
