Amazing that every one voted a few hours a week.

1-2 hours a day, which is an increase, I watch more since the digital switchover.

My usual pattern over the past six or so years has been practically no TV - maybe a few hours a year, so that's what I voted.
I recently had new TV aerials fitted to encourage me to watch more TV but I still don't seem to find the time to even remember to turn it on, let alone watch it. That's not to say I haven't watched TV at someone else's house. |

Saturday is my biggest TV day because of sports. I love college football (American football) and college and professional basketball. Other than that, I like
to watch History channels or any National Geographic programs because I love learning about the world.

A few hours a month. I sometimes leave it on to have a 'background noise' more than anything else, but I was never a big fan of television.

I watch between 2 to 4hrs a day, sometime ago that was a lot less, however due to hearing problems, I have have speakers close. There are times however I do
leave the TV in the Kitchen on just as Francois says as background noise, but 'see' the news using Teletext.
I used to love Radio, so much more interesting, and the News programs were much more involved with the Subject. |

Same as Heather, 1-2 hours a day, but I can go for days without TV and read instead, plus I much prefer the internet.

I don't watch the TV very often. I mostly watch tv shows on the computer, does that count.

I often view TV on the BBC IPlayer when I'm in the TV watching mood. It's good to pick and mix what you watch when you want to watch it, with a degree
of selectivity, rather than being held hostage to the schedules. Thank goodness too, that the BBC is still advert free, for it is often the adverts and
constant breaks which makes TV watching an annoyance, rather than a pleasure.

I am in the house so much I put 6-8 but it varies. Probably 5-7 would be more accurate. Sounds a lot but I still have plenty of time to do whatever else needs
doing! And if I am involved in something else I might not watch any at all.

I can go days or weeks without tv, but sometimes I can sit for hours and watch it.
But in general since I have limited free time, I would generally prefer to read books, be online, listen to music, play computer games, etc rather than watch tv. |
