Pre-1970s please - the older, the better. Here's one of my mum and me. .... and one of my paternal great grand-parents. EDIT to add ... in order to make this very long thread more manageable I have removed posts which consist of dead Photobucket images, and their replies which are now out of context. If you don't have a scanner, but have a digital camera, just photograph your old photos and then upload the photos of the photos. Simple, but it works. If I may be so bold to give a shameless plug for Julia's photograph restoration service. If you have any treasured photos which are stained, ripped, cracked or faded, then contact Julia. I have a restored version of this photo but have no idea were I put it! Its probably with the barclays card that I put away safely and never saw again!

I've got loads more but I don't want to take over the thread with mine alone.

I've actually got around to looking through these and I have enjoyed myself. Isn't it wonderful to see these little snippets of history. I've got loads, going back to 1900 - no not me - and those hats, you must see the hats. he he ! I'll have to get among my old albums and give you a giggle. Irene Growing old gracefully is O.K. but growing old disgracefully is much more fun.
