Good idea, Ray!
We could googe search them, or write our own of course. Count me out for writing, I'm hopeless with poetry, even limericks, unless I have all the time in the world. Who's going first? |

A time honoured form of poetry usually quite racy clean ones are hard to write
There was a young lady from Ealing who had a peculiar feeling She lay on her back and she counted each crack that she could see in the ceiling. No doubt you know th other version but this is a family site |

As a youngster I lived in the borough of Ealing ... no matter how hard I looked I never saw this lady
An inquisitive youngster from Ealing Searched high & low for the ceiling Upon which, it's said - Sat A strange Old Bat Who was really quite un appealing |

My surname is Maine so I chose this one: There was a young lady from Maine Who claimed she had men on her brain. But you knew from the view, As her abdomen grew, It was not on her brain that he'd lain.

I knew we had some poets around here. Keep it up they are brilliant.
