Help Me Make It was certainly a wonderful piece of music. With every generation there comes a load of rubbish but also some pieces that live forever. This is a special.
Growing old gracefully is O.K. but growing old disgracefully is much more fun.

I like corny and romantic, Urxie. I think it's lovely and I love the musical Oklahoma.
 I love the lyrics of this Rod Stewart song which is very sad but also very meaningful. The Killing Of Georgie

Irene has just posted a beautiful poem of hers entitled "Sometimes, When We Touch" HERE which reminds me of one of my favourite songs of the same title by Dan Hill. The lyrics are lovely but I think Irene's say so much more.

Just had a quick listen to that on Real Player Music Store and it is lovely as are the lyrics beautiful. Never heard it before.
 I must admit the songs I love the most are the ones that make me cry like I Knew I loved You Before I Met You and Have I Told You Lately . to name just a few. And no, I am not a manic depressive, just a stupid romantic.  |

I like the Bees Gees. One of my favourites is 'You Win Again' but more for the tune than the lyrics. I don't think I know any of the words apart from 'you win again'.  |
