Do you have a favorite TV show?
Right now mine is '24' starring Keifer Sutherland. I also like the original CSI. For comedies the new show "How I met your Mother" is pretty funny.  |

Those programmes don't sound familiar to me at all, OBMF. I expect they're only shown in US, right?
Hmmmmm, haven't watched TV in years but do like it .... when I've got the time. I used to like Coronation Street (I know, so sad  but at least I admit it!). I like any good documentary or drama, academic chat shows (which feature Germaine Greer especially) but most of all I love the classic comedies such as Father Ted, Absolutely Fabulous, Faulty Towers, Keeping Up Appearances, Rising Damp, One Foot in the Grave and Butterflies. I used to love Tommy Cooper and Benny Hill decades ago but they don't seem to make sit coms like those any more. |

I remember when they started to show Are You Being Served over here, and I just LOVE it!
I like CSI the original too. I also like House. |

Urxie, I wasn't aware Are You Being Served was shown in US. Some excellent characters in it, isn't there, especially the gay guy and the lady with the "@#%$". Oh I see that word has been automatically filtered.
 Tony, I just adore Dougal's innocence and Father Ted's tolerance towards him and Mrs Doyle falling off window sills and her tea making - Gooooo onnnnnnnnnnnnnn, have a cup of tea, gooooo onnnn!  |

I tend to avoid modern murder stuff 'cos we have enough of that in the real world but oddly I like the old murder mysteries like Columbo.

Psychologists reckon that soaps are very good for us!
I used to love Coronation Street and do miss it but just don't have the time for it nowadays.

I love
 CSI! we get it in the UK but I usually wait to watch them on dvd...I'm watching season 5 right now as I post this. I prefer the original but Miami and New York are also good.  |

I have to say my two fav shows have to be 'the Colbert Report',(I reviewed on www.ratedtv.com) and 'the Daily Show'. the original CSI is good too.
