The United States is probably one of the few countries I would be comfortable living in because it does not repress its people. I can talk bad about the President without fear of persecution. I can speak freely so long as it does not phyiscally harm anyone. I can own a firearm without being arrested. I can chose any religion I so desire without oppression from my government and I have the right to vote to any candidate I so choose. Not very many people in this world can experience the freedoms we have

But if you live in Florida the state has a right to ignore your vote.

No and in quite a few places it is America that has removed these rights, the insist on due process for American citizens but denies them to the rest of the world (Guantanamo and the extra ordinary rendition flights).

And why not it is nothing to be ashamed of? But how do you square that with America keeping a standing army?
When the American constitution was drawn the right to keep and bear arms was to avoid the need to maintain an expensive standing army. The framers realised that not only were standing armies expensive but once you have one there is always a temptation to use it frivolously, whereas a home based militia could never be used to invade countries on the other side of the world just because your oil reserves were running low.

I am interested in your use of the phrase "Al-Qaida rebels" whom are they rebeling against?
Finally you do realise that "Allah" is the same God that christians worship, dont you?

What is a cult? my dictionary gives
(1) A system of religious beliefs and rituals.
(2) Adherents of an exclusive system of religious beliefs and practices.
(3) An interest followed with exaggerated zeal.

Looks to me like "cult" is a word used by people of one faith about another less popular faith that they dont agree with.
