Let´s start a series of haiku on the seasons.
I´ll start with spring, the next person writes about summer, then autumn, winter, and back to spring ...
Give your haiku a title so that the next person can see where we are (the title can be the name of the season or something that is very typical for it, like, let´s say, "snow" for winter.
Remember, a haiku is composed of three lines and requires strict syllable count:
5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second, 5 again in the third:
5 - 7 - 5

and what a great idea. I love haikus! 
I was wondering could it be less restrictive, i.e. any topic that inspires the individual (seasons wouldn't inspire me at all) and therefore more
chance of responses? Good luck with the thread. 
I'm so grateful for these threads - they are giving me the confidence and self-belief to write
poetry once again, especially the short forms such as haiku. Edited to add the 7th 2nd line syllable.
