The original What did you do today? thread has become extremely long and maybe a little overloaded for efficiency so I shall move it HERE to 'Old Blah Blah' archives. You will still be able to read it, though it will be read
only.
This is what I did today.

Well done, Julia! I haven't done much yet today other than
 and get dressed,etc. Yesterday my eldest son and I visited my brother and on the way home stopped in at my favorite pub for a delicious meal  ... we even shared a Bailey's chocolate cheesecake for desert....

I forgot to mention that today is "Earth Day" & the bags they put my groceries into had been decorated by students at our local elementary school. They are so precious! I remember when Molina used to do things like that in school. I miss those days.............all she ever does in school nowadays is argue with friends & get questionable grades.

Went to work, we had to call the Police as two of our staff had purses/leys, etc stolen from them by a client, not nice. Then at lunchtime there are roadworks on the street, while looking at this guy waving a flag, then i walked on to wet cement on the pavement..yuk
 ..That was my day. |

Its been one of those days where I want to
 Well, it started yesterday actually when Chantal asked me to put some MP3s from my PC onto her IPod. I spent an age trying to figure out why the hell it suddenly decided not to recognize her IPod on my PC anymore. I was a failure I couldnt do it!  Today the bathroom lightbulb went. No problemo I though so up the ladders I went to change the bulb and the bugger wouldnt come out no matter how long I twisted and turned it, it was jammed solid.  Another failed job!  Rudo had a try tonight and he couldn't do it either so shall have to go to B&Q tomorrow for another fitting.  To add insult to injury, Chantal came to me this evening asking if Id transfer some more family photos from my PC onto hers. No problemo I thought!  She wanted so many that I decided to throw them onto a memory stick rather than a CDRom. It took an age. I then shoved the memory stick in her PC and whaddya think happened? Yup, her PC didnt recognize it!!!   To add further insult to injury I practically did nothing with my assignment today (nor over the weekend) which I should have been working on solid.  One moment please while I  I hope no one heard that!  Hehe I feel better now.   to bore you but I needed that.   |

 I will try to have a much better day today. I have a tutee for an hour this evening and am not back in work till tomorrow so it should leave me much of the day to get some work done.  Happy shopping, Grace!  |

Quick answer....... Nothing.
 Speaking of assignments. Tonight, for the writers club I should produce a horror story containing a can, soot coloured seeds and Black sludge. We have had a week and rotton old Ivor has done his. Any ideas ??????  Perhaps I should go back to bed and think about it.  Growing old gracefully is O.K. but growing old disgracefully is much more fun.

As i am suffering from a cold for nearly two weeks with no sign of it easing and i'm not going to the doctor to pay him 50 Euro and more for medication, i am trying the alternative way and went to Herbal medical centre for some cure, well its working so far.

I went to the Medical centre to see the practice nurse to get my blood pressure checked and it was perfect.

That's good news, Tony!
 I'm off to work soon for an afternoon class, I'm seeing my own tutor after class, then I have a 1 1/2 hour 1:1 session at 6.30 with a student.  |
