Anne gave me these photos the other evening to post for her. 
The first one is a painting and the second a decoupage birthday card. Beautiful, aren't they!?  There's a couple more of Anne's work HERE too. 
I think Cassia knows something about the owl birthday card.

 Annie, that painting is stunningly beautiful, I just love it, it is so me somehow, it touches a deep chord ... I want it!! 
Honestly, if I could buy that one, I would, but I guess it´s either one of your own favourites and has a place in your home, or you have given it to someone who treasures it just like I would.  Anyway, you have just impressed the %@$# out of me!! 
That card, yes ... I think that´s the one Annie made for a German neighbour of hers, and I helped her with the text.

That painting is amazing!
The road is so mysterious and inviting and I feel compelled to follow it wherever it leads. There is such a magical quality to it, I can't even explain it. I'd not be surprised if you've had paintings exhibited. The owl card is beautiful too, he lives up that road.  You have a great
talent, Anne!

Thank you. The painting is done with a mystical theme in mind. It was one of the last ones i did. I must admitt it looks better on the photo, than the actual
work.
The birthday card was done for a German mans 80th birthday. Cass kindly helped me with the text.  This card looked better than this. The photo is lobsided. Making the card look
crooked.

Thank you Cassia. I am honoured that you have it on your desk top. I may consider parting with it in the future.
 I have it on the wall in my studio. I will have to do something
similar to replace it.

Not me, my visual imagination is the pits, I tend to think in words - I can remember names much better than faces too. I really sucked at arts at school.

Intelligent in everything else? I couldn´t even drill holes into the wall to put up a bookshelf!!
I mainly have a knack for languages and a quick understanding, that´s all ... doesn´t mean I´m superwoman.  I have no children either, and raised them lovingly so that they´ll be good
people, that´s a huge accomplishment in itself.
Your artistic talent rocks!! 
You know what - I might write a poem inspired by your painting, yes, I´ll do that, I´ve been looking for inspiration ever since my last sonnet, that would be cool, a collaboration between us!!

That would be good. I would hang your poetry up next to the canvas.
That reminds me. I once painted a small picture of Ophelia. The scenery was ok but Ophelia's face wasn't very good. So i didn't finish it. I will have to see if i can find it. |

After all your encouraging comments to day i thought i would take up painting again. I got as far as sorting out my paints. I had lots of jobs around the house to do first. So i never got round to doing any art. Tomorrow- Honest. |
