I read an interesting article in Woman magazine which rated the following
natural slimming aids. I've listed them in order of rating, with the highest rating first.
Hoodia Gordonii - Natural appetite suppressant. 8/10
Lipobind - removes up to 27% undigested fats from a standard meal. 7/10
Appestat - Taken before food, it works by stimulating hunger 'sensors' in the stomach wall, which then send a signal to the brain informing it that the stomach is full. 6/10
Formoline - The naturally sourced fibre that it contains, binds itself to fat so it's not absorbed and leaves the body naturally. 5/10
Zotrim - The Zotrim formulation can make you feel full sooner during a meal and for longer after a meal so you eat and snack less. 5/10
Boots Diet Aid - Helps weight loss in conjunction with calorie-controlled diet. 2/10
Anyway, my problem is feeling absolutely ravenous, especially during the evenings, since quitting smoking almost 18 months ago, so I
decided to give Hoodia Gordonii a try (since they got the highest rating and are supposed to be effective in curbing the appetite) and I purchased them last
night from HERE. I'll let you
know if they make a difference, though I'm not holding my breath.
Has anyone tried any of these products, or any other natural products which claim to aid slimming, such as green tea?
NOTE - Under 16s, pregnant/lactating mothers and people on medication should
obviously seek medical advice before considering any such products, even though they are over the counter healthfood herbal products.

I'd have only ordered a month's worth though, if it doesn't work you've bought two months needlessly. Both let us know if it has a
effect, I might consider getting some if it works and neither of you have turned a funny colour.

I am most disappointed as it didn't make the slightest difference to my appetite as claimed. I took my first one at 2pm and by 3pm I was absolutely
ravenous!
In fact yesterday was one of my hungriest days ever that I ate like a horse in the evening - no carbs but still. I'm not half as bad today
though so ...
I can't wait that long! I'll give it a few
days and expect to see some difference at least.
