...might be my direct ancestor. 
I was doing some genealogy research today, and found where some peeps have put Mary Boleyn in some genealogy charts that show that she would be my direct
ancestor (if indeed the research is correct). Now of course I am taking all this with a HUGE grain of salt as so often these things are proven to be untrue.
But if it is proven to be true, then not only would I be related to Mary's sister, the imfamous Anne Boleyn, through this family line, but I am
already supposed to be related to her on my dad's side (with again, the proverbial grain of salt )
And to make things even more interesting, Mary's daughter, the ancestor I'm supposed to be descended from, is rumored to actually be
the illegitimate daughter of King Henry VIII, as Mary was his mistress.
...So if all that turns out to be true, then I guess 
There have been so many times in which a possible link to an exciting ancestor have lead to a dead end, that I'm not going to hold my breath that this
one will be any different. 
about before this one also turns out to be a false ancestor, and thus, crush me once more.
